Front Country

Saturday 7th October 2017, doors open 7:30pm

An acoustic band born in the land of tech innovation, Front Country are in no way an ordinary American roots band. Cutting their teeth in progressive bluegrass jams in San Francisco’s Mission District and rehearsing in the East Bay, they learned to play roots music their own way, and have forged a sound hell-bent on merging the musical past with the future.

Tickets £15.00 (£17.00 on day of performance)

(Philip Henry & Hannah Martin)

Saturday 11th November 2017, doors open 7:30pm

Winners of 2014's BBC Radio Two Folk Award for Best Duo (and nominated again in 2016), Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin go from strength to strength with each successive project. This gig will coincide with their eagerly awaited new album, Edgelarks - which the duo have also adopted as their new name.

Tickets £14.00 (£16.00 on day of performance)

Sam Kelly & The Lost Boys

Saturday 2nd December 2017, doors open 7:30pm

After his first album, The Lost Boys, Sam was awarded the prestigious Horizon Award for emerging artists at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Now, with a full band, a new album is due in November. Full of youthful exuberance and instrumental virtuosity, The Lost Boys breathe new life into traditional music, contemporary originals and even the occasional surprise rock cover!
