We have embarked on a quest... to put on regular live music evenings at our village hall, in Kings Somborne, Hampshire. Our aim is to provide quality musical entertainment, be it folk, jazz, blues... whatever. We try to book top quality professionals while keeping our prices as low as possible.

Our next gig is on Friday 22nd June, the day before the Kings Somborne Beer & Music Festival. Virgil and the Accelerators are a young and very talented blues-rock band who are getting great reviews at the moment. Definitely not to be missed!

Fronted by young blues-rock guitar phenomenon Virgil McMahon, Virgil and the Accelerators are an exciting power trio, and a driving force in the rejuvenated blues-rock genre. Their debut album, "The Radium", was voted number 2 in Blues Rock Review's "Top Twenty Albums of 2011".

Cocos Lovers

This Kent-based band is fast becoming a favourite on the UK festival scene, known for their slick multi-instrumental performances, full choir-like harmonies and glorious melodies. Their original and heartfelt music combines traditional folk, African and Eastern rhythms and strains of the Deep South.

Charlotte Glasson Band

Winner of the Best New Band award at the Marlborough Jazz Festival 2009, the Charlotte Glasson Band plays uplifting jazz with warmth and a sense of carnival about it. There's Cuban music, Argentinian tango, South African kwela and Jamaican ska. The band also features the excellent Mark Bassey on trombone. To quote one review: "If you’ve ever wondered what smiles sound like, this is it".

Huw and Maart

Songwriter Huw Williams and multi-instrumentalist Maartin Allcock first met on a Fairport Convention tour bus in 1995. Huw went on to conquer the British folk scene and Maart went freelance after leaving Fairport and has built a session career which includes over 200 albums. Come and enjoy an evening of foot-tapping tunes and beautiful songs with anecdotes that will both captivate and make you laugh.
